Dear Diary,
I wish I had something exciting to share with you...but I really don't.
My January has fallen into a semi predictable pattern:
Swimming (full body work out ya'll!)
work (Fossil decided to keep me past seasonal!)
work (Fossil decided to keep me past seasonal!)
Lifegroup (I love my Jesus community)
volunteer at Cook Children's (certifiably in love with these people and this place)
library runs (I go through books like I go through fine point, gel ink pens)
library runs (I go through books like I go through fine point, gel ink pens)
Coffee with friends (because I love hot beverages and talking with people)
Church (worship + wisdom = so good.)
Core (where I'm challenged, held accountable, grow and loved on - all at the same time)
Letter writing (because snail mail is awesome)
Not necessarily in that order and not all in one day.
I recently discovered our FREE indoor community pool!!! A bunch of older people use the pool, so I feel a whole lot less self conscious when donning a swimsuit in the middle of winter. That being said, some of these women (in their 70's!) are hardcore in shape. They put 21 year old college football players to shame. Seriously, no joke.
Anyway, I won't leave you pictureless.
The other day (aka: several weeks ago), Kari and I had a girls night.
We enjoyed delicious pesto eggplant stacks (compliments of Chef Kari):
...ate popcorn, watched a movie and took ridiculous pictures on our dad's new ipad (I'm pretty sure he hasn't seen them yet. ha!).
Love our seester date nights :)
love,
amy
